The "2025 Department Showcase and Multi-Channel Admissions Info Session," held by the Asia University Department of Interior Design on November 8, 2025, has successfully concluded. Centered on dynamic booth displays and enthusiastic student-faculty interaction, the event successfully attracted the attention of numerous high school students and parents, yielding fruitful results.
Eye-Catching Models Showcase Solid Design Foundations
At the event, the department meticulously planned its showcase booth. The most eye-catching elements were the exquisite physical models handmade by students, alongside a portfolio of work showcasing the complete learning journey, from first-year foundational graphics to third-year capstone projects.
To provide visitors with a deeper understanding of the department's features, current students from the first to third years were specially arranged to manage the booth and provide explanations. These students enthusiastically shared their personal experiences with course content, design philosophies, and practical skills, offering visitors a "zero-distance" feel for the department's professionalism and vitality.
Warm Student-Faculty Interaction Inspires Prospective Students
In addition to the static displays, the "Multi-Channel Admissions Info Session" held on the same day was also packed. During the event, many interested high school students and parents seized the opportunity to engage in in-depth interactions directly at the booth with the department's students and faculty. They eagerly asked questions regarding curriculum planning, future career paths, and application portfolio preparation.
Fueled by the professors' professional analysis and the current students' friendly sharing, the atmosphere was exceptionally warm. According to event statistics, a total of 9 high school students, following these in-depth consultations, expressed their strong interest in the department and their intention to apply in the future, marking a perfect conclusion to the event.
Shih Sheng-Cheng, Chair of the Department of Interior Design, stated: "We are delighted to see our current students confidently showcasing what they have learned and passing this passion on to high school students. Interior design is a profession that demands both practical skills and communication. The enthusiastic interaction at this event is a true demonstration of our teaching philosophy. We look forward to welcoming these students, who are full of design potential, to the ranks of the Asia University Department of Interior Design."
