The International Design Program is designed with a number of features including:
1. Strengthen professional English ability
In addition to the compulsory "English Reading and Writing", "English Listening" and "Practical English" courses, students in this program will also offer "Design Professional English (1) for the English communication required by the design majors. (b) "Course, and in the course of professional courses, "TOEFL English Intensive Course (1) (2) (3) (4) (5)" for students to take elective courses to enhance students' English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills, and Cooperate with the school's language center to apply for English certificates such as TOIEC. The sophomore "International Design Presentation and Presentation" course will use English as the main language of instruction, training students to discuss design in English, written reports in English, and reports on English, so that students can use it smoothly when they exchange students in the third year. English expression design, and can experience foreign life culture without barriers.
2. Participate in international work camps and exchange students
Students of this International Design Class are required to take the International Design Project (1) during the second semester of the sophomore year. Participants in the one-week Asian International Design Work Camp can earn 1 credit for this subject. The design work camp was held at the Asia University, and invited foreign design college teachers to the school's guidance, and can exchange ideas with students from other schools in the United States, China, Japan, and Britain. In the second semester of the sophomore year, you will need to take the "International Design Project (2)" and participate in the one-week US International Design Work Camp or the Overseas International Design Work Camp to get 1 credit for this subject. Students can go to the United States, the China, Japan, Britain and other schools for a week of overseas international design work camp, visit his school for design creation and observation. In the third year of junior year, you need to study the "International Design Topics (1) (2)", and you can exchange foreign students for academic awards. In response to the above curriculum planning, the University has set up a special “Design Scholarship” to enable students of this International Design Program to have the best learning resources with the support of the school. This scholarship gives outstanding students a win-win situation in which they can study abroad at the same time, including opportunities to travel to the United States for a semester exchange, participate in the US International Design Work Camp, the International Design Work Camp in the UK, and participate in the school.
