The 8th graduation design exhibition of the Interior Design Department of Asia University opened on May 17th (Friday) at the Taipei Songshan Cultural and Creative Park. The three-day exhibition attracted many visitors, high school students, and families of students.

The department has a long history of participating in off-campus graduation exhibitions. This year marks the most graduating students since the establishment of the Interior Design Department, with the highest number of exhibits. The works cover a wide range of content, from spaces for children to older adults. They focus on the essence of space and integrate social care and environmental sustainability issues. In the process, generative AI is introduced, fully demonstrating the benefits of connecting graduation design with practice.

Representatives of the fourth-year students participating in the exhibition, Zeng  and Xu, said: "Although the year of graduation design has experienced some setbacks, we are pleased that we and our team can persist. Only then can we achieve today's results. Thank you to the teachers for their warm encouragement and the cultivation of the department, which has given us these professional abilities."

Professor Lin, the chief instructor of the graduation design, said: "Most of the topics of student graduation designs are related to current social care issues. They find design stories from observations, make unique graduation designs from these stories, and have future goals and dreams for design. The final presentation of their work has reached the level of the industry."

The emotional speech of the graduation class mentors, Professor Wang and Professor Chan: "Watching the growth of students from freshman to senior year is like accompanying our children. We are very pleased to see the achievements of students today. The fruits of hard work are lovely, and we look forward to students continuing to improve."

Chiarman Shih said: "The graduation design exhibition every year is a major event. The Interior Design Department has a good and complete exhibition space this year. Students' efforts throughout the year have a good display, and we hope students can continue to shine in the design field after graduation."
